Scirpus cyperinus - Woolgrass
Woolgrass (Scirpus cyperinus) is a densely-tufted, clump-forming perennial that can be found in many types of wet habitats, such as marshes and ponds. Its foliage consists of a green leafy upright stem and woolly 6 to 12 inch clusters of spikelets as the fuzzy seedhead that turns a golden brown. It is one of several important species of wetland plants that provide food and cover for waterfowl and other wildlife. Native Americans used this plant for a number of purposes that include making bags, mats, and used it to stuff their pillows.

SCIRPUS (bULRUSH):
Scirpus is a genus of about 120 grass-like species in the sedge family, and can be found mostly inhabiting wetlands or damp locations on every continent except for Africa and Antarctica. They form a large compound cyme of 50 - 500 spikelets per inflorescence and are often brown or greenish brown. Scripus species have mainly been planted to prevent soil erosion and provide habitat for other wildlife as it can produce dense vegetation along rivers and lakes.
Returns of standard seed mixes and individual species must be made in the original unopened packaging within 10 days of delivery. If you wish to return live plants, you must do so within 5 days of delivery. Returns of standard mixes, individual species, and live plants are subject to a restocking fee of 25%. Custom seed mixes may not be returned. When returning non-damaged goods, the buyer is responsible for shipping charges, and return shipping may be made by whatever means the buyer selects.
