Hypericum ascyron - Great St. John's Wort
Great St. John's Wort (Hypericum ascyron) is a herbaceous perennial wildflower with erect unbranched stems except for the upper third of each plant. The smooth, opposite, ovate leaves are up to four inches long and clasp the stem. It features a showy display of yellow flowers two inches across with five petals, and a bushy center stamen. Its name most likely came from early Christians observing the plant blooming around the feast of St. John the Baptist (June 24th), and their belief of it having mystical properties to ward off evil spirits along with its medicinal qualities.

If you wish to return live plants, you must do so within 5 days of delivery. Returns of standard mixes, individual species, and live plants are subject to a restocking fee of 25%. Custom seed mixes may not be returned. When returning non-damaged goods, the buyer is responsible for shipping charges, and return shipping may be made by whatever means the buyer selects.
