Gentiana andrewsii - Bottle Gentian
Bottle Gentian (Gentiana andrewsii) is the most common perennial gentian. It is a shorter plant with narrow leaves that are whorled or opposite below its clusters of flowers. It has bottle-like blue flowers that never actually open and look like a bud that form in tight clusters atop its stem or sometimes in axils of the upper leaves. The unusual blooms are pollinated exclusively by bumblebees who push their way into the flowers with their size and strength. It tolerates cold weather and frost, and blooms late summer into fall.

GENTIANA - GENTIAN
Gentiana is a genus of flowering plants with about 400 species, and are commonly called Gentians. They are most known for their large trumpet-shaped flowers, and can be mainly found in alpine habitats of temperate regions in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Gentian flowers are usually blue, but they can come in a handful of other colors depending on their location. Gentian root has been used in various beverages, and it has been used as a common flavoring for bitters. Gentian has also been used in herbal medicine to treat various ailments from, digestive problems, fever, hypertension, muscle spasms, parasitic worms, wounds, cancer, sinusitis, and malaria.
Returns of standard seed mixes and individual species must be made in the original unopened packaging within 10 days of delivery. If you wish to return live plants, you must do so within 5 days of delivery. Returns of standard mixes, individual species, and live plants are subject to a restocking fee of 25%. Custom seed mixes may not be returned. When returning non-damaged goods, the buyer is responsible for shipping charges, and return shipping may be made by whatever means the buyer selects.

The seed labels show independent lab testing results, and the absence of weed seed is not represented or guaranteed. It makes no warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, which would extend beyond such descriptions. In any event its liability for breach of any warranty or contract with respect to such seed or plants is limited to the purchase price only. Allendan Seed Company further limits to the purchase price any liability of any kind on account of any negligence whatsoever on its part with respect to such seed or plants. By acceptance of the seed or plants, the buyer acknowledges that the limitations and disclaimers herein described are conditions of sale and that they constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding warranty or any other liability.
