Eutrochium maculatum - Spotted Joe-pye Weed
Spotted Joe-pye Weed (Eutrochium maculatum) is a tall, unbranched perennial. Its main stem is purple or purple-spotted and often covered with fine white hairs. It has whorls of 4 to 5 ovate leaves that can get up to 8 inches long that form along the central stem. The flat-headed clusters of pink or lavender flowers are several inches across, and occur at the tops of the central stem. It is useful as a tall plant in wetlands, drainage areas, or along streams/ponds.

EUTROCHIUM - JOE PYE WEED
Eutrochium is a genus of flowering plants that are native to the United States and Canada, and are grown mostly as ornamental plants. They are commonly called Joe-Pye Weeds, and were traditionally all the purple flowering North American species in the genus Eupatorium. Besides the flower color, the other main difference between Eutrochium and Eupatorium is that the former has mostly whorled leaves and the latter mostly has opposite leaves. Some sources claim that the plant was previously used to treat typhus outbreaks, and to treat kidney stones.
Returns of standard seed mixes and individual species must be made in the original unopened packaging within 10 days of delivery. If you wish to return live plants, you must do so within 5 days of delivery. Returns of standard mixes, individual species, and live plants are subject to a restocking fee of 25%. Custom seed mixes may not be returned. When returning non-damaged goods, the buyer is responsible for shipping charges, and return shipping may be made by whatever means the buyer selects.

Allendan Seed Company further limits to the purchase price any liability of any kind on account of any negligence whatsoever on its part with respect to such seed or plants.
