Eupatorium altissimum - Tall Boneset
Tall Boneset (Eupatorium altissimum) is a tall unbranched perennial, except for the upper flowering stems. The stems and leaves are covered with tiny white hairs. The opposite, ovate leaves are up to 5 inches long and 1 inch across with three conspicuous veins that run along the length of each leaf. Star-shaped, dull white disk flowers bloom from summer to fall in flattened clusters at the stem tops. During the frontier days, an herbal tea made from the leaves and stems was used to relieve the bone aches associated with severe fever symptoms.

EUPATORIUM - BONESET
Eupatorium is a genus of flowering plants containing about 60 species. They are a white flowered plant that is native to the temperate regions of North America, Europe, and Asia. They are commonly called bonesets, thoroughworts, or snakeroots in North America. The common names are all based on the previous usage of one species, Eupatorium perfoliatum, as an herbal medicine. Despite its common name of boneset, it did not treat broken bones, but instead it was used to treat dengue fever, or breakbone fever, which caused great joint and muscle pain. Caution is advised when using boneset for medicinal purposes as it contains toxic compounds that can cause liver damage.
Returns of standard seed mixes and individual species must be made in the original unopened packaging within 10 days of delivery. If you wish to return live plants, you must do so within 5 days of delivery. Returns of standard mixes, individual species, and live plants are subject to a restocking fee of 25%. Custom seed mixes may not be returned. When returning non-damaged goods, the buyer is responsible for shipping charges, and return shipping may be made by whatever means the buyer selects.

The seed labels show independent lab testing results, and the absence of weed seed is not represented or guaranteed. It makes no warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, which would extend beyond such descriptions. In any event its liability for breach of any warranty or contract with respect to such seed or plants is limited to the purchase price only. Allendan Seed Company further limits to the purchase price any liability of any kind on account of any negligence whatsoever on its part with respect to such seed or plants. By acceptance of the seed or plants, the buyer acknowledges that the limitations and disclaimers herein described are conditions of sale and that they constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding warranty or any other liability.
