Family owned Allendan Seed Company has been operating in the Winterset area for over 40 years. The thriving enterprise is one of the largest producers of native prairie grass and wildflower seed. Thousands of pounds wholesale and retail are shipped across the United States. Producing over 150 species of local ecotype seeds and plants, Allendan Seed Company aims to provide high quality plant material to our customers for the purpose of ecological sustainability, Preserving the Past for the Future.
